Center for Wildlife Expedition, Monitoring and Restoration (CWEMR) carries out zoology and conservation biology for wildlife animals, providing technical guidance and recommendations for animal ecology and restoration. Our center is committed to provide training course for beginners, cooperate and exchange information on the related area, promote harmony between human beings and wildlife, and to achieve sustainable development.
The main interests are as follows:
1. Biodiversity structure and component research, and wild animal resource investigation and monitoring in large area regions.
2. Ecology and conservation biology of rare and endangered animals.
3. Environmental evaluation and sustainable development design, wild animal resource recovery and its protection.
4. Evolution drivers in animal behavior.
科研团队组成
中心主任（一级PI）：胡慧建，男，博士，研究员。长期开展大区域生物多样性组成与结构、野生动物物种多样性提升与恢复以及动物行为进化与人工繁育方面的研究。工作区域涉及珠峰及喜山山脉、青藏高原、广东省与福建省大多数地区。提出的生态恢复理念在全国得到认可和推广。

周智鑫，博士，助理研究员，动物生态与保护生物学；
张春兰，博士，助理研究员，动物调查监测。
科研成果概况
本中心近年来获批国家自然科学基金3项，广东省自然科学基金及科技计划5项。承担了广东省、福建省和西藏自治区多个区域的野生动物本底资源和全国动物二调的调查工作，并获得国家林业局和省级林业部门的项目资助。
