广东省昆虫研究所暨华南濒危动物研究所成立于1958年9月，原属中国科学院，1972年起隶属于广东省科学院，是广东省政府直属公益一类事业单位，也是华南地区唯一从事动物学研究的综合性科研机构。研究所致力于有害生物监控、应用生物技术、野生动物资源保护与利用三大主要领域有关的科学研究。因研究所发展需要，按照公开、平等、竞争、择优原则，现招聘4名科研人员。
一、招聘岗位及要求
1、科研助理岗位I：要求获得硕士/博士学位，具有化学生态或昆虫生理生化或昆虫生态学等专业背景和较高的科研水平，热衷于植物保护和昆虫学相关的科学研究或技术开发工作。
2、科研助理岗位II：要求获得本科/硕士学位，具有生物学或生物技术或昆虫学或生态学等专业背景，并具有责任心和服务意识，热衷于植物保护和昆虫学相关的科学研究或技术开发工作。

Job Description
Guangdong Entomological Institute is seeking candidates for Research Fellow in the field of behavioral and ecological entomology & pest management of citrus. Current areas of research excellence include Chemical Ecology, Insect ecology, Biotechnology, Biological control, and Pest management. Preference will be given to individuals with focused research in citrus pest management. Responsibilities include planning and conducting field and greenhouse trials to study citrus pest behavior and ecology and managements.
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include an earned Ph.D. from an accredited institution in Entomology, Crop protection, or related discipline and a minimum of three years’ of experience conducting replicated field trials; experience using mixed model analysis in SAS or SPSS; and excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English are required. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in China at the time appointment is scheduled to begin, and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Desired qualifications include independent planning, conducting and evaluating pest management; and strong analytical and statistical skills as evidenced by teaching experience in statistical analysis and design.
